Great Melton Bowls ClubOne half of Roger's family due to visit this weekend have come down with covid so he has three tickets going free for the Millwall game Sunday if anyone would like to have them. Although there is a match on Monday evening this is away so if anyone wants to have a roll up we can still play weather permitting!
Jane has put up a list for the Girls v Boys on Wednesday 9 August, we will play for the Corbett cup. So come on everyone especially the girls (we won last year with one or two dodgy looking girls) let's make it a good afternoon and see if we can remain the "champions"

We need to cut the hedges at the bowling green. We are trying something different this year by having the work party on a Friday as we hope that this will allow more people to come & help out even if it's only to help clear up.

This is a reminder for the Memorial Afternoon we are having in memory of David. The afternoon will start at 1:30pm so please can anyone wishing to play please arrive by 1:15pm so we can get names down on the board. The afternoon will be played like Rod’s Saturday competition and there will be a prize for top scorer. Only the usual roll up fee £3 to paid on line in due course.
Refreshments, tea, coffee, cake and biscuits at about 3pm for everyone even if you have not entered the competition. It would be nice to see as many of you as possible. We will have a spider after the refreshments and anyone wishing to have a go can join in for £1. Make a note in your diaries and look forward to seeing you on 12th July. Jane
There will be another work party this Saturday at 9.00am to finish the painting ready for the bowling season to start on Monday 24 April at 5.30pm.
Thanks to those of you who have already paid your subscriptions for this year. If you haven't paid yet could you please let me have a cheque or pay by BACS by the end of the week so that I know who it include in the "register" this year and can print it for the start of the season next Monday.

Dear Everyone……..just a reminder!
The A.G.M. of Great Melton Bowls Club will take place on Monday April 3rd 2023 in Bawburgh Village Hall. The meeting will start at 7.00pm. The meetings don’t usually take too long and as there are refreshments afterwards it’s a time to catch up with friends.
If there are any things you want to talk about at the meeting get in touch or they could be included in A.O.B. Please come and bring friends who may be interested in joining the Club.
I don’t know when play will start but as the days get longer spring is here, it won’t be long!
