A11 and Norwich
From
the Thickthorn roundabout (A47/A11 junction) follow signs to Hethersett (B1172) and when approaching Hethersett pass the Church
on your left hand side take the next Right hand turn (signposted Hethersett) after about 500
yards, Turn Right by The Queens Head pub into Hethersett village.
Keep
on this road through the village and then into countryside until you reach the end.
At this point Turn Right signposted: Bawburgh. Follow the road around the bends passing the memorial on your right. Melton Park
is approximately 400 yards passed the Memorial on the right hand
side opposite the flint wall.
From
the North
On
the A47, exit at junction signposted: B1108 to Watton. Follow the road signposted
to: Watton, for approximately 1.6 miles. Look for third Left
Hand Turn signposted: Great Melton. Travel on the road for approximately
1.2 miles. The Ground is located on the left hand side
opposite a flint wall. If you reach the Memorial on your left hand side you need
to perform a U turn and travel back about 400 yards.
From
the South
On
the A11 Wymondham bypass Turn Left signposted: Dereham & Hethersett. At first roundabout,
off slip road (facing police HQ), Turn Right ( 3rd
Exit) then at next roundabout (by Waitrose store) Turn Right again (3rd Exit) signposted
Hethersett (B1172). Follow road for approximately 2 miles and after passing Hethersett Old Hall School on your right) take Left Hand Turn. Pass the Kings Head pub on your left and then look
for The Queens Head pub at which point you Turn Left into Queens Road.
Pass
through Hethersett village. Keep on this road through the village and then into
countryside until you reach the end. At this point Turn
Right signposted: Bawburgh. Follow the road around the bends passing the
memorial on your right. Melton Park
is approximately 400 yards past the Memorial on the right hand side
opposite the flint wall.
